Looking for old and out-of-print sci-fi books; 1879-1995.

Perhaps try Ebay or Amazon.com. If you live in a large city, there may be bookstores that specialize in Science-Fiction (Forbidden Planet) and have either out-of-print/rare books or would have a bulletin board/club for people that have the books that you are seeking.

Try smaller "second-hand" bookstores as well, many people sell their collections to stores (Strand Bookstore is one in New York City).
