Let's say that you spend the least time on what you like the least! Work EXTREMELY hard to change that behavior.

One go to every class, do every homework problem, if you can not do them find someone who will do them with you. Hire a tutor, a friend, most colleges have a math lab or study parlor.

Two, Talk to the professor explain you just do not understand and you WANT to pass and don't know who to turn to.

Three, Then with all your homework problems complete arrive to class prepared and early, give yourself time to feel like you belong there. Follow along as the professor covers material and ask at least two questions everyday! Even if you don't need to just so you will when you DO need to.

Four, Before exams, review and REDO all homework, seek study advice from the professor and YOU WILL succeed, but it will take the ability to PUT in the TIME.
