How do you remove write-protection on a jumb drive/thumb drive?

i have a jump drive for school now it is saying you must remove write-protection before you can delete or add things please help me

It usually has a little slide on the edge. One position is locked and the other unlocked. If it is locked now just slide it to the other extreme with your fingernail to unlock it.

that depends on the one you have. some have a button on them. others require a program to toggle it.

go to the site of the manufacturer and see if they have a faq page. if not contact them
