My child is almost 2 and just got over the stomach flu. The belly is all swollen to where his belly button is almost flat. He just had a stomach flu last week also; could this be related?

Take him to the doctor!
It could be something as simple as gas. Since he's young, his abs havent developed as much as ours and it's much more obvious when he's gassy. (similar to how you bloat when your expecting your period)
Take him to the doctor. it could be something more serious

i dont want to scare you or anything but...
i saw this on the animal planet.
a golden retriever had like a stomach flu
and its stomach was bloat.
it was bloated with methane gas and food couldnt be digest properly so nothing came out the back end.
the dog went to immediate operation to suck the gas, stomach acid, and other things out and to clean the stomach.
the dog didn't live however.
bring your baby to the hospital immediately! hope he's okay.

When was his last BM? He may be constipated. Is he showing signs of being uncomfortable? If he may be constipated or is uncomfortable, it is always good to check with your Dr.

you need to take him to the doctor IMMEDIATELY!!! there could be all kinds of reasons why his belly is swollen.

It could be gas or constipation, but I would go to the doc A.S.A.P.
