I'm Pro-Choice. I think that abortion is always going to happen, legally or not. I wouldn't wanna see my cousin or any other female member of my family to get an illegal abortion. What if they die in the process? I'm sure many people here can agree to that. Before Roe v. Wade there were 1.2 million abortions and many of those women died a horrible death. Also, I think it's hypocritical of pro-lifers to protest abortion clinics but they don't protest fertilization clinics where in IVF many embryos are thrown into the garbage when they're not needed. They think the morning after pill is murder but they think it's okay for a woman to get an abortion when her life is in danger even if she's 6 months pregnant. Where is the "it's a baby" mentality? They are choosing the life of the woman over the fetus! They're hypocrites. I think if they're going to be anti-abortion then they should be against all abortions including the ones where the woman's life is in danger, no exceptions! They're just picking and choosing. Check out the link for embryo development.

omg, where do I begin? For one thing, I am adopted..was adopted since I was three months old. I dont give a sh1t what my mom did to end up having to give me up, but I love the woman for chosing life for me either way. I am pro life. Sure, it seems like the number one reason people give for being pro choice is the whole "what if you were raped" deal. But think about it. With all the teen sex going around these days, is rape REALLY the issue? One time, my dad told me that if they made a law where only people who got raped and called the police about it could get an abortion, all the pro choice people would hate it...because they know that rape isnt usually the issue...hardly ever. When it is, it's a sad deal. But I have always told myself that if I were ever raped, I would give the child what I got from my mother...something you only get once....LIFE.

I am pro-life. did u know we abort 1.37 million babies each year? in a period of less than 5 years-that would be more than all the jews killed in the Holocaust. Of that 1.37 mil, around 13,000 r reported as a result of rape or incest. u can find this info at abortionfacts.com. I want to be a politician when i get older. My ideal solution for ur scenario is still ro-life. The govt would provide benefits to the rape victim as long as they report it. On the other hand-if a woman falsely reports a rape-she would be heavily fined and maybe do some time because i think rape is a very serious issue. I also want to be harder on rapists. A fetus is not just tissue, like many liberals like to tag them as, but are deemed human life by the experts-known as embryologists in this particular field. The only way i think abortion is justified is if the woman, deemed by doctors, will probably die as a result of giving birth. but that is her decision and hers alone. All other situations, abortion is unexcuseable, whether it is currently legal or not.

Pro-life, There are lots of people out their looking to adopt a baby. what happened to someone no matter how horrible it maybe isn't the child's fault. The first cell duplication is complete 30 hours after conception. Cell duplication is life. To take that other persons life is murder (when is taking another life not considered wrong) especially a innocent one who hasn't done anything wrong. Bad things happen every day but at no point do two wrongs make a wright.

I am anti-Roe. I am against any interpretation of the Constution like Roe v. Wade. I am for interpretting the Constitution correctly, because, without a correct interpretation of the Constitution, it doesn't matter whether or not I am pro-choice or pro-life. Until Roe gets overturned, it doesn't matter whether the asker or any of the answerers what we think. So long as Roe remains law, our opinions don't mean diddley-squat.

I'm pro-life. Abortion is never the only answer. It especially gets me when irresponsible people use abortion as a method of birth control. Also, I never understand why people refer to the baby as a baby, then claim that they are not committing murder. They might as well refer to it as a mass of tissue. Why kill a baby if you get raped? That's not going to end all of your problems. You'd be better off giving it up for adoption. Is it the baby's fault that the mother was raped? Abortion is NEVER your only choice. That's my story and I'm sticking to it. Oh yes, and the incest issue...1) Get real. How many incest cases ever end up in pregnancy. 2) Kill the baby? Again, not the baby's fault.

Yeah.

i think if that's your one and only fear and any other reason is inexcusable for abortion ............ you are more pro-life

me ....... the reason you gave and incest and the safety of the mother ........ besides that NO, there's a thousand and one types of contraceptives available over the counter and abortion shouldn't be taken as a form of birth control

who is it that isn't real Nicole? come down to the real world before you make a comment like that. one in every two minutes ....... somewhere in America, a woman is rape and 5% is committed by relatives ......... you go figure out the no. and to say it isn't real ............ YOU MUST BE LIVING IN THE WHITE HOUSE!

Pro Choice....

I don't know why people would prefer that a girl who was raped by her father bring her possibly deformed brother/sister into the world. I'm curious though, do pro lifer's adopt the mentally handicapped children that they save?

Pro-life
Yes you could have been raped but unless both mother and child are in danger, have the baby.

That isn't the reason most people get an abortion, they use it as birth control!

PS: most people already born are OK with abortion - go figure

PSS: can we pro-rate it
