Nope but that's my big est fear. Living in S Florida Ive seen the Miami riots and Hurricane Andrew both times Law and Order went south and both times i was concerned for my personal safety and loved ones and my property, then made a sign saying , You Loot I Shoot.

No, I'd be trying to shelter the rest of us who don't loot or kill. Looting would be resorted to only if we were out of essentials and killing would be kept to the last resort. Horrible thought isn't it?

Great question. This question invites us all to examine what influences us to follow the law. Is it purely the promise of punishment if we don't conform, or is somehow inbuilt into us over time so that we follow the law regardless of external punishment. There have been many Psychological papers written on this topic, with many arguing that initially we are motivated to follow law by the punishment and reward system, but over time it slowly becomes our internal moral code, thus no longer requiring a punish and reward system. Therefore in answer to your question, it would depend whether the law was imbedded in the individuals moral code.

Well you would have to protect yourself and your family so for looting the answer would be yes.

Looting, a commener-gardener supermarket sweep. Yes I'd loot all day but I wouldn't have time to kill. I'd be too busy driving up and down supermarket isles in my supercar.

I wouldn't necessarily be looting and killing but I'd definately be out and having fun. How would you like to tell your grandchildren that you spent the "big riot" cowering in your basement. (Heh! probably the same way the Y2K losers feel about how they spent millenium eve waiting for the world to end.....:-D)

looting maybe. Killing no. I'm being realistic here. When there's no one to stop you and there's no fear of being caught your attitude on things can change so stealing becomes easier. Killing though for me is on a higher scale and won't be easy to break down even if I won't get caught.

No, my own ethics would prevent me from doing that. Because there is a lag in the law does not make it right to be lawless.

Well apart from borrowing some new parts for my car (black '67 GTO, oh yeah baby it's hot) and maybe some munchies, I think I'd just chill out in my pad with loads of drugs and hours of gratuitous sex.
