I have a question.. I am 23 weeks pregnant, and the last couple of weeks I have been getting a sensation like baby is kicking me in the bladder.. That doesn't really bother me much. But I have also started occasionally getting a similiar sensation, but it seems to be near my vagina.. almost like a bubbly/popping sensation. It usually only accompanies the "bladder kicking" episodes.. but I was just wondering if anyone else has experienced this, or may know what it is. And this last time it happened, I experienced a brief pain, almost like something hit a nerve. I don't know if I should be worried about it or not, so I am going to bring it up at my next appointment. I was just wondering if anyone may be able to help me out in the meantime. Thanks =D

Could be bladder spams. They feel like someone is squeezing your bladder every few seconds and the feeling goes down to the urethra.

Oh I bet you are enjoying every single kick! my baby also hits my bladder, however babies are not supposed to kick your vagina, for whoever told you they do, they don't your baby's head is all the way up in your cervix, so the sensations you are feeling in your vagina might just be a side effect of the bladder being stimulated by the baby. It should not be painful though, that is something you definitely have to ask your doctor. All baby's movements should feel strange and new to you and nothing like you have ever felt before but certainly not pain. I would definitely let your doctor about it.

Sounds like it's just what you said the baby kicking you in the bladder which I think could cause the other feelings too. Once the baby finds a new favorite position, you'll have new strange sensations.

Your going to feel all sorts of pain when the baby is moving around the farther you get along. By the time you are 7, 8 , 9 months pregnant and the baby has dropped, it will really hurt then too. I love it when all of my babies kicked and moved around, but they do sometimes hurt.

It sounds like the baby is moving around and kicking hard. You could also just have gas. I know for me gas was a big problem. I took what I could but I could be sitting at work and my stomach would feel like there was giant bubbles in there.

Totally normal. My son kicked me all over the place, bladder, vagina, ribs.
They are really active in there and there is not a ton of room.
It is a great sign that your baby is so active

You're fine! At this time in your pregnancy, you will start experiencing "flutters" or the baby kicking. Just wait til you're ready to deliver and you can actually see feet and hands poking through the skin of your stomach. Good Luck and God bless!!! :)

No don't worry..I have had children and I realize this is your first. So unless u start bleeding u don't have much to worry about. Enjoy all your sensations. It's part of the baby moving. The bigger it gets the more that u will know what it is.Like a foot in the ribs.hhahaha Congrats....

I got weird jabs all over, and he had hiccups everyday after lunch. It felt like he was dribbling a basketball. I was more focused on what was going on with the baby than work. It was kind of fun to count his hiccups.
