You MUST speak with the doctor who is treating your epilepsy, they will probably do a blood screening,if no prior information is available, there can be indicators in your DNA which may help in analyzing the risks. But do not fret my uncle was born with epilepsy and had 5 children none of which has any signs of epilepsy. Good Luck.

I am 4 months pregnant and have epilepsy. I have had epilepsy since I was 2 yrs old but only have two massive seizures in my whole life. The only thing to worry about is the pregnancy part. Because of having so many hormones you are at risk of taking seizures more frequently. As for the chances of your baby getting epilepsy, it's possible (but a slim chance). Epilepsy is not a genetic disorder. Sometimes people get epilepsy from head trauma, high fevered illnesses, or as children. Very rare cases are genetic. My case was found to be genetic since I have a half brother with epilepsy who is brain damaged from it. Even if your case is genetic there is a chance your child won't get it. Your child may become a carrier of the gene instead. The best thing you can do is talk to your neurologist and ob/gyn about the risks of pregnancy and the risks for the child. If your epilepsy case is sever enough they may classify you as a high risk pregnancy. Since my case isn't severe and I haven't had a seizure since I was 4 I'm not classified as high risk. But I wish you luck and I hope this answers your question!

You could wish to invite your self why this child obtained the influence that you just could have intercourse with him. I do not imply to sound like a jerk, however it is not in a tender girl's high-quality pursuits to be brazenly promiscuous. He's a punk 14 yr historical with hormones raging, of path he will feel and act in a different way whilst he meets a woman who will shaggy dog story with him AND includes condoms at institution of all areas. If you wish it to quit going down, are not making it so persons understand you as any person who could be inclined to have intercourse with a man after a couple of candy nothings.
