This is the process of translation. Translation doesn't occur in the cytoplasm however, it occurs in the ribosome. The ribosome acts similar to a catalyst and facilitates tRNA anticodons bonding with mRNA codons. The amino acids at the other end of the tRNA are then joined with peptide bonds to the adjacent amino acids.
