Because, adults tend to forget about the other 364 days of the year and give in to all the gluttony and overindulgence of Christmas. But, the smiles and excitement of Christmas morning are just priceless.

Santa is a very forgiving person. So I guess it's the present itself that counts. Socks and underwear compared to a new T.V. or car. The Nicer you are the better the present.

why? were YOU bad? huh? but, i agree. once, three members of my family went on a trip during christmas. my father had to stay behind because he had too much work. we came back and in our stockings we found a calendar annnnd....the recipt. wahoo. that's when i stopped believing in santa!
