My breasts were very sore for a week and now they are just really tender. I'm not expecting my period for another week. This will be 10 days now that they remain tender. I know it's not PMS (it's been going on for too long). Also I've had small amounts of cramping on and off for the past week as well. Is there a chance it could be pregnancy or just a weird cycle?

I have been experiencing the same thing...last month actually. I thought I might be pregnant....I am experiencing the same thing again this month, I had my period last month and maybe our bodies are just changing. It is driving me crazy because I always worry about being pregnant. My period is due in 8-9 days and my breasts have been tender for over a week now! I think it is just changes in my body and yes it could be a weird cycle. I seem to ovulate at different times during the month.

I'm having the same problem. My breasts have been hurting soooo bad since Nov. 4th. My period isn't due until the 17th! It's already been 10 days of serious tenderness. I was supposed to ovulate on the 4th, so I just figured they were sore from that. Usually though, they will hurt for the 2 days of ovulation, and then go away until 2 days before my period. I had unprotected sex on my supposed ovulation day, so anything is possible right now. I'm hoping it means I'm preggo, but you never know. Do you have any other signs? Let me know what the results are, if you get your period or not. Our bodies could just be all out of whack. I wish you luck!

Well, I guess I should say congrats!! It sounds like you are pregnant!! GOOD LUCK!

Found this on the web for you

Breast Tenderness
One of the very noticeable early signs of pregnancy is tender, swollen, somewhat sore breasts. You may notice this pregnancy sign at bedtime when you are trying to get comfortable and go to sleep, when exercising or showering, or when getting dressed.

When you become pregnant, your body begins preparing your breasts for producing milk and breastfeeding. Hormones start increasing. In addition to breast tenderness and swelling, your nipples may feel sore or extra sensitive. Some women notice their nipples darken in color.

Your breasts play an important role in childbirth. They are naturally sensitive and become far more so when pregnant. This is one of the most obvious early symptoms of pregnancy

from my own experience i had sore breast for a long time and i went to the doctor and found out that i was five weeks pregnant. yes there is a possability that you may be pregnant but then again even though your period may not be close the soreness may be because of that. but the cramping may also mean that you are pregnant. my stomache would cramp and i called the doctor and they told me that it is the stretching of my stomache getting ready for the baby.

It definitely sounds like you are expecting. But you never know, your cycle may be out of wack. So just hold on for another week, and if your period is late, take a test.
