I have never seen it but just from the prevfiews it is a false representation of Kazhaks, they are not Arabs, they are of the Russian descent, and they live in what used to be the soviet union.
I think this guy picked a country he knew nothing about and assumed no one else did eather and he guessed what it would be like and guessed completely wrong.

I just had a chance to see this movie last week at a test screening and I must say I think it is the funniest thing I have ever seen on the big screen. I hope the final version includes the racier scenes and the MPAA doesn't pressure them to edit it (but they would surely be included on the DVD release). Basically it is a two hour journey following Borat across the U.S while he meets and greets all sorts of characters along the way. I don't want to give anything away but it manages to capture the hilarity of Borat from Da Ali G Show and hold it for the entire film. I was worried before I saw it because movies have a way of destroying all expectations brought forth from another medium but this film lives up to the challenge. Anyone who is a fan of the show will find themselves on the edge of their seats, trying not to spray urine on those close to them. We ran into Sacha after the screening and he gave us word that the release date was sometime over the summer, nothing specific but definitely something to look forward to.

Yeeeaaaah. And you can not watch Psycho if you are now not tall. You can not watch Animal House if you are now not Greek. Gentiles can not watch Mel Brooks films. His common sense is as idiotic as his prejudice. They're Catholics, and the exorcism works, however so what? They by no means say some thing within the film even remotely disparaging approximately different religions besides Witchcraft. I'm a Witch and I uncover it simply slightly blip at the radar offensive. One of the foremost characters is Jewish and the Catholic priest is his buddy! It's a best film. He should not permit his prejudice and fears maintain him from residing. The film honestly critically annoyed plenty of Catholics. THEY had been those who discovered it offensive! Does he refuse to force by means of Cathedrals, too? Sheesh! BTW: It wasn't made BY Catholics and has no proselytising factors. carmide, simply in view that you've got by no means stricken to learn jack squat approximately different religions doesn't suggest you'll declare that none of them do exorcisms. Almost all international religions (there are over 10,000, incidentally) have a few type of exorcism, adding different types of Christianity. "Only a Catholic priest can exorcise a demon." Aren't you caught on your self! Anyone can banish evil energies in the event that they recognize what they are doing!

I saw this movie this w/e with my 23yr. old son and we both laughed through the whole thing. I thought it was one of the funniest most original movies I've seen in a very long time. Although I must say I would never ever recommend it to either of my parents and I would die of embarrassment if I were to somehow be locked in a room and forced to watch it with them. I definitely do not recommend this movie for the uptight.

The guy is going to make millions, and he's cheating the people who were in that movie. He paid the driving instructure only $500 dollars and the peasant's only $3. The guy is a ahole.

I haven't seen it, but looks like the money and law suits are pouring in at similar rates.

I think it's funny that Dumb Blond Pamela Anderson was the only one in the movie that got the joke.

It's extremely well-written and Borat is brilliant. It's kind of ignorant, though...
