a few ways
1) fill a cup up with soapy water, and suck it in and out of the straw, but dont drink it...and then do it with a cup of clean water to rinse
2.) throw it in the wash like 20 times
3.) get a new one :)

personally, i would go with the 3rd option

I HATE crazy straw cups. Personally, I think that they're VERY unsanitary. They can be cleaned effectively IF you clean it immediately after use. I would also recommend soaking it in a bleach solution. A safe bleach solution is 1 tablespoon of bleach per quart of water. Be sure to fill all the airbubbles in the straw. Rinse very well after it's clean. If it's been sitting for a couple of days without rinsing or cleaning, throw it out.

You can clean this cup with no effort by soaking it in bleach. A mixture a of bleach and water will also be effective. Rinse well!
