no. most people think of insects as bugs, and a scorpion is an arachnid, which is not an insect.

The word bug, is a term that is used very lightly in the entomological world and is only used to describe a select order of insects, Hemiptera, which include things like cicadas, stink bugs and wheel bugs to name a few.

Scorpions are actually arachnids, more closely related to spiders than to "bugs"
They have eight legs and do not have antennae, wings, or the three body segments characteristic of the insects.

I would say it's an insect. If it gives me the creeps, it's a bug!

do you mean 'insect'? of generally just a crawly thing - cos then yes.
otherwise i think you'll haveto ask him.
becasue yesterday he said he was considering it, but then out of the blue, just changed his mind. don't know why.
just changed his mind. i said, look, i'll support you, but he said ,no , it's alright, i'm fine.

so i dunno.
