I know this question has been asked a million times,but I just wanna know, which one do you prefer?
I enjoy the Simpsons more, Family Guy I must say is quite unorigional and the most obvious clone of the Simpsons and the random humour is boring. But the show does deliver a chuckle or two.

Simpsons will always be a classic, and it's because of the Simpsons that shows like Family Guy, South Park, and American Dad exist. Simpsons is a pioneer show.
All that being said, Family Guy passed the Simpsons on the comedy scale a long time ago. Family Guy is the Simpsons on Steroids. Family Guy wins easily.

My vote is for The Simpsons. I think Family Guy goes a few steps too far into the zone of tastelessness.

Simpsons has a huge following and has a been a great show for many years. Family Guy is a bit more edgy, twisted, and it really cracks me up

I'm more of a fan of Family Guy. Maybe it's because Simpsons has been around so long that they're predictable...but there's just a sense of....wrongness..about Family Guy. I'm a big fan of the inappropriate and irreverent. So it makes me laugh a lot more than Simpsons does.

Family Guy and the Simpsons are two great shows. But you forgot to mention South Park. Now South Park has not been out long like the simpsons, but it's my favorite show. They are great. Who would not want a Cartman, Stan, Kyle, Butters, and a Kenny in their school. That would be GREAT!

I love Family Guy, it is a bit edgier than the Simpson's and sometimes I have laughed so hard I cried (syrup of Ipecac episode), but The Simpson's has remained hilarious after all these years, it is the longest running animated show in tv history and hasn't lost it's humor, so I gotta go with Homer and Marge!

the simpsons by far. the family guy used to be funny until they went off for a bit then came back. i don't know if they got new writers or what but it just isn't funny anymore.

they are both so funny, but I agree with you; Family Guy is like a cheap rip off of the simpsons. I laugh at it sometimes, but it's basically inappropriote jokes and random humour
