A Mom For Christmas

2016-10-05 04:02:21 · answer #2 · answered by Anonymous · 0 0

I think that a nice present for your Mom is a picture of you (and your siblings if you have any) done professionally at somewhere like Sears, Target, Walmart, JCPenney. You don't have to buy a big package just the picture you like the most and then put it in a nice frame that goes with the style your mother likes. I did this with my siblings one Christmas and my mom loved it.

You can put together a scrapbook of pictures of you and your mother, special events that you have done together, traditions, and add your own special messages to the pages and a note at the beginning wishing your mom a merry christmas telling her how special she is. You don't have to get a big scrapbook, they have smaller ones that you can put together that are perfect for gift-giving. That would be a thoughtful, from the heart gift any mom would love.

Another special gift is to treat her to a day or couple of hours at a spa getting a pedicure, manicure, and facial.

Merry Christmas!

Gift cards are good. Also, gift certificates to restaurants and all women love Bath and Body Works. If you do not know what her favorite fragrance is, again, gift certificate. My favorite fragrance is Moon Light Path.
I do not know if you have brothers and sisters but, something my children do is, go together and but a nicer gift. They pitch in 20-25 dollars each. Last Mothers day i got a fish pond that they also installed for me. I have gotten a microwave, Bunn Coffee Maker. It is had for my kids to by for me because i have all i need but, if they know there is something i would like but will not buy for myself or something had went on the blink , like my microwave, they got me one. That does me more good than anything. I can save my big bucks and with them all going together, it is less costly for them. I am however sure she will like what ever you get her. Merry Christmas to both of you.

I'm sure you'll get too many answers to make up your mind on what to buy here, but I'll tell ya as a mom if I could have one of those coupon books I used to give my mom as a kid I'd be in heaven. You know the ones a coupon to do the dishes, one to clean your room...only if your an adult you can change the clean your room to a drive to go shopping...some more coupon ideas.

If you have kids, take them to see gramma coupon (if she doesn't see them much)
If you live in the same city, a breakfast in bed coupon with her favorite magazine or newspaper
A movie date of her choice ( her choice alone or choic of companion partner, friend, you...
If she drives clean her car coupon, clean her driveway of snow coupon
Clean her windows/fireplace coupon
You can give more than one coupon for the same thing to make it even better ex a few clean the dishes, or ironing coupons

Your avatar shows a smoker; I can't ask you to quit but if you are and if you do I'll bet that would also make your mom way happy. Moms also worry about their adult "babies"

my mom asks for pj's every year or a house coat so I usually go to a nice store and buy her one. This year I'm getting her a calander made with pictures of her dog since she loves a calander every year. You could also get a family portrait done. She would know about it of course, but its still a nice idea. Or if you have siblings then get one of you guys together for her. perfumes are nice, a sweater if you know her size. bath sets or if shes into pampering a gift card for a spa day.

Good Question - Anything with a diamond (if you can afford it!). FLowers are nice and chocolates. Get something personal just for her.... not a kitchen item unless she asked for it!
What a good son you are !
Happy Christmas

Being a mom, I would like some new slippers. A current photo of my kids. Tickets to a play. Candles.

Have a flower arrangement delivered to her on Christmas eve. Never fails to make her cry with happiness.

well our family lost everything in hurricane katrina so, last year i got my mom this tree from the store "Things Remembered". it was a silver christmas tree about a foot tall and on all of the braches was a tiny picture frame. so iput pictures of all of the family members and of us growing up. and at the store does engraving - so on the star at the top of the tree i engraved "to making new memories" but you could engrave anything you wanted to make it special

I'm a mom, and I love gift cards from any of my favorite stores. That way I can buy whatever I want or need.
