The University of Chicago is generally acknowledged to be one of the elite universities in the world. The University of Illinois-Urbana/Champaign is a very highly regarded public university (it has the largest university library in the world).

Don't go to Texas, it's gay. Take it from me, someone that moved to texas after going to school in michigan. TEXAS SUCKS. Kiss all your credits goodbye and look forward to 7 pointless years of your life. You want a good medical school, try the university of michigan.

i know nothing about illinois however i am from texas and there are alot of good schools...the ones that i am close to and know about are sam houston...aTm...and texas university!i guess that it really depends on what you want to go to school for.

the best university in texas is probably rice. it's a really high quality school, and also really cheap for a private school, but it's also pretty hard to get into.

went to Texas A&M in College Station Tx...so im kinda partial....just research what ya want to to....no matter what school ya choose.....
