Tri-state Tornado of 1925 (longest tornado track) covered 218 miles
Jarrell ,TX tornado May 1997
Hesston KS tornado March 1989
Gainesville TX 1994
Grand Island,NE tornado 1980(anticyclonic)

there have been several F5 tornados in Texas and in Oklahoma, look up online as these tornados tend to wipe out entire towns.I don't recall the exact year but look within the last 20 years. I have lived in Texas all my life and tornados are something we deal with here.
