Im a freshman in high school and I'm starting wrestling this year. We have to shower after practice because of ringworm. I have never showered with other guys before, and I'm kinda a big guy. Does anyone have any suggestions? I'm kinda nervous, so your advice is appreciated.

Don't give it a thought - just shower with the guys, carry on a normal converstaion the same as if you are all dressed and you will be fine.

Nudity in the locker room and showers is actually a valuable male bonding experience. It is an opportunity to let it all hang out and not give a darn who looks or who you see. A wise man once said you never really know your friends until you've seen them naked. There is a lot of truth to that. It is pretty hard for anyone to hide anything when they are as naked as the day they are born.

So, big or small, tall or short, and even shaved or just trimmed, feel free to be yourself and relax durign the entire locker room trip. Just allow yourself to dump yoru wrestling gear in yrou locvker and walk buck naked to the showers, get clean and rinsed then walk back to get your towel and dry off. Yea, the first time is gonna be a bit nerve wrackign but it will dispose of all you inhibitions and embarassment really fast so you can settle down and just be your natural self faster. Oh, and if you do it, you will soon have all the guys relaxing and going naked too.

One thought - if you mean you are big as in a little overwieght, don't let that stop you from being naked with the guys. Instead, start doing all the right things to get into good shape and be really healthy. Exercise, fresh air, sunshine, good nutrition and pleanty of sleep will tone you up and before too long the guys will notice the change and you may even get some compliments.

I have no idea what "kinda a big guy" means. Either you are fat and overweight or you're hung like a racehorse. What's the difference....

Learn to be at ease showering with a bunch of other men. If you ever join the armed forces you'll be doing this daily.

Simply get over it quickly. Everyone else feels the same.

Yeha.. Im a freshman too. I have to take a shower after swimming practice and my advice is to like act like it doesnt matter. I dont know about you but like the first year of jr highschool i was afraid of changing in the locker room but like after the first time, i was ok with it. and if you notice anyone looking, dont say anything, but it may turn out that they are even more insecure than you. So dont worry about it, everyone feels exactly the same.

show off your manhood. Don't give a fck about if some guy is looking at you, just make sure you don't look at some one else. Im also in wrestling, lost only two matches my first year but not so sure about going this second year.

Wear shorts when you shower. (Like swim trunks/gym shorts) I know it can be a nervous situation. Just do you business, wash off, and be on your way. I'm sure there is no guy that's going to comment on your weight. If they do when you're showering...I'm sure you can come up with some good comebacks! :-D Good luck!

yah your modesty is working, and that is good.
we all worry about some bone heads remarks in the shower room.
Thing is, they have to know, that any remarks directed towards you, may result in their lights going out.

I am not saying to look for a chance to deck some one, I am saying, make it known, that you are a decent dude, that will not put up with comments about your body.

Well if your shy, just shower when everyone else is done. But if you cant do that, you just have to deal with it. Just ignor everyone while your showering. You'll feel like no one else is there.
