They're right, it's C, but no one has told you why. "Between" is a preposition and the pronouns that follow it are all objects of the preposition; therefore they all need to be in the objective case.
I hear supposedly educated people make this mistake all the time. I wonder whether it's even being taught in schools any more....

This is the correct one.

Just between you and I, sentence "A" is worded correctly.

I am sure is "C" Because the other ones don't make any sense.

The correct answer is C.

In A, you should use "between you and me".

In B, it would be "between him and me".

In D it would be "between us" or "between her and me".

A should be you and me

B should behim and I

C is correct

D should be her and I
