1000 grams=1kg

so. 9 kg = 9x1000x10=90000dg

10 grams = 1 dag, dekagram
100 grams = 1 hg, hectogram
1000 grams = 1 kg, kilogram

9 kg = 900 dag (not dg)

That depends on whether you want to know how many decigrams or how many decagrams.
It's 90,000 decigrams and it's 900 decagrams.
At lesat I believe this to be true...unless I've messed up again.
