I recently installed a new geforce mx 4000 128 mb video card and now my mouse pointer is able to go off very far to the right of the screen, its very annoying because it won't stop at the edge of the screen like it used to.

Wow, that explains why I keep getting that unknown mouse pointer coming onto my desktop from the left.....

sry couldn't help it.. Here's your fix. Right click on your desktop and select properties. Click on the settings tab. You will see icons representing your monitor "1 and 2". Your video card apparently handles two monitors. Click on "2" and uncheck the box thats says extend my desktop to this monitor. That should do it.

Have you tried to adjust the settings on your monitor? Maybe you have it set too wide or the picture too far to the right. I just played with mine to see, and while it's always been able to hide on the right side of the screen, when I adjusted it further to the right it went over further.

If your computer is not working properly while you are working on it, it could be a problem with device drivers, hardware or software.
