I dont even know if I need a new one, I was driving it and then it downshifted, keep in mind its auto, then it downshifted again and then when I hit the gas it was like it was in neutral. Then I pushed it out of the road and in to a parking spot and it wouldnt push anymore. Some one said the something is Bound... I am a computer guy so I dont know too much about cars please keep that in mind. Thanks in Advanced.

Im going to say anwhere from 1500-2000. but even the 2400 below doesnt seem like an outrageous price.
Judge the condition and mileage of the rest of the car to determine whether you want to fix it or not.....for most people I'm going to say a car that old has served you well, and to let it go.


Other makes of transmission shift down into 2nd when they sense damage, to prevent any futher damage to their guts, sounds like something like that happened to you

Hea computer guy. My dtr, just paid $2,400.00 to have her`s rebuilt.
