Is it just another word to rhyme with fuss? I can't find muss in the dictionary, can you help?

Muss- A state of disorder; a mess.

It actually is another word for mess or dishevelment. One's hair is "mussed" for instance, when a hat is taken off. The hair is disheveled, or messed up! It is more a coloquialism than an authentic proper word.

the word is supposed to be "mess." for rhyming purposes they changed it to "muss." :)

The name moose is from mus or mooz (‘twig eater’).

In sportsbetting, a "moose" is said to occur when something highly unlikely or improbable occurs thereby "moosing" everyone that appeared to have the winning bet. Typically, a "moose" takes place near the end of a sporting event.
