What is the difference between the regular version of the outsiders and the plantinum version, talking about the book. I want to get the Outsiders and don't know whats the difference.....i saw the plantinum version on borders.com and want to know the difference

Just get the regular one. Its just a book. They have the same content and words. The platinum is probably just newer. And may have some other stuff. Whatever you want.

nothing is different, the two books are just the same. The older one is probably from 2000 and the platinum ones the more recent. I bought the old one when i was in 7th grade and it is still my favorite book, defintely buy it. I bet the newer ones more expensive and has more info and the author and characters!!!

You mean the classic edition? It has a forward written by SE Hinton and Jodi Picoult, the story is exactly the same.
