The movie is "the Village". It's a 2004 M. Night Shyamalan movie that starred William Hurt as the father of the blind girl sent through the woods for medical supplies. He and Liam Neeson do resemble each other, but Liam didn't have a part in that movie.

You're thinking of "The Village", which was directed by M. Night Shymalan (of "The Sixth Sense" fame). The actor was William Hurt and not Liam Neeson. The blind daughter was played by Bryce Dallas Howard, who is the daughter of the famous director/actor, Ron Howard. It was a great movie!
