Go to Home depot and ask them for the strongest but gentlest cleaner they have. I cant remember the name of it but they will recommend this grout cleaner I used.

Just buy a product called CLR from your local Walmart or Home improvement store. Spray it on - let it sit a few mintues and scrub off. Repeat if necessary (but it rarely is).

Contrats on your new home!

Try a paste of brown vinegar and bi-carbonate of soda. You may need to leave on overnight and or several times. Use plenty of elbow grease and lots of patience. Good luck.

I had well water at one time and it used to leave rust stains. I used ZUD, it was really good at removing the stains.

Try CLR. It is supposed to work really well for a budget item.
