There is a lot of information available on things like locations of stamp clubs, stamp shows, and dealers at http://www.stamps.org - the information there should help you a lot.

If they're US http://www.mysticstamp.com has their catalogue online and the prices they sell the stamp for - ie the prices the stamps sell for. If you want to sell them I recommend selling it to them as well.
Try Googling "find stamp value online", I've heard there are some good websites out there.

go to the postoffice.com to see the prices of the stamps and to order them
