Use of the "just would". The word just used in conjunction with would, creates a double predicate, which is grammatically incorrect.

A semi-colon would make more sense instead of a comma. There are two seperate ideas in your statement.

My father hates traveling; he would just like to stay in the city where he was born.

My father hates traveling. He would just like to stay at the city where he was born.

You're missing a conjunction, but in this case I prefer two sentences.

1. Capital M to start the sentence.
2. Either a period or a semi-colon after traveling.
3. Traveling can be spelled with 2 Ls, but one is not wrong.
4. "Just" is poor form, almost slang. Delete it.
5. "In", not "at".
6. Period after "born".

"at" should be "in"
"just" sounds misplaced
punctuation/capitalization is off

My father hates traveling. He would just like to stay in the city where he was born.

My father hates traveling; he would like to stay in just the city where he was born.
