Need to know what common things different cultures/countries have in common. Any input can really help me out.

1. People - how many
2. Land - is the country land locked or an island
3. Location, location and location - is it 1/2, North Korea, and South Korea
4. Has the country ever won a war....see france---nope..even mexico beat them
5. Is the country part of NATO
6. Is the country part of the United Nations
7. What goods to them import...and is that due to lack or just because they are rich...see oil exporting countries
8. What goods to they export
9. What countries are on the ...bad list...because they deal in billions in drug trafficing.
10. Climate--cold, warm, or hot
11. Are the people friendly and do they encourage tourism...see Cuba
12. Are the people trying to develop Nuclear Weapons
13. Does the country already have nuclear weapons
14. Does the country have good natural resources - especially water....see Africa
15. How much money and "aid" does that country (find out from US sources) receive from the USA.
16. Does the country have a history of war....see germany - wwI and wwII.
17. Would you like to visit there...and why?
18. Does the country have fair, good or great education from elementary through medical school for their children.
19. Does the country give rights to the women
20. Does the country give rights to the poor - can they work and save and become millionnaires....
21. Can the government "nationalize" business and take over business ...because they want to...see socialized government....also france did this many times.

Think about the things that different cultures develop over time, such as government & religion. Why do so many cultures develop hierarchical societies? How do they take care of their people (healthcare, social programs)? How did their monetary systems develop (trade)? What purpose does religion serve in developing cultures? Hope this helps...

Well, start with the basics: We all eat. You talk about food the same ans the different.
Mcdonalds is Everywhere.
wedding ceremonies may differ but it is a wedding none the less.
I am sure that if you thought about it long enough the anser will come to you

all civilized countries have a written and spoken language, a form of government, defined boundaries (ie property lines), society laws, expected behaviors, shared religious beliefs with others in their country.
