My sister thinks makeup should not be worn often.She claims it isn't normal to wear makeup .She also claimed that everyone is looks beautifull with make up, which I totally disagree with.I wear makeup everyday .It makes me feel and look feminine and well kept.Is there something wrong with that??

I think it is perfectly fine to wear makeup everyday. Some days you can wear less, some days, more. I disagree with those who feel strongly that women should elate in their natural beauty and not have to be dolled up like a clown. There are those who wear makeup aiming for a more natural look. Now, what constitutes a "natural look"? Why even bother wearing any makeup if you want to look "natural", right? I think every woman can use a little makeup, not to be worn as a mask, but to enhance the features they already have or maybe to even out some of their flaws because we all know we don't want uneven blotchy skin. Now, that is enhancing.....natural beauty, yes?

It's kinda funny. I used to hardly ever wear makeup, but now that I have contacts and have gotten older, the only time I don't wear makeup is when I a) forget to put makeup on (which is rare) or b) when I have to milk cows at 5:30 in the morning... I find now that I feel ugly without at least putting on mascara... but your sister has a valid point. It's not natural to wear makeup, in the sense that natural is something that has not been altered. There is nothing wrong with no wearing make up and there is nothing wrong with wearing makeup. I like to wear it, because it makes me feel and in my opinion, look, prettier. I feel beautiful and that's what matters; that I and we are women feel beautiful.. and if you need makeup to feel beautiful than put it on.... If your sister doesn't need it, then good for her!

There is not anything wrong with wanting to wear makeup everyday, just as long as you realize that you are beautiful without it. it shouldn't be a big deal if you accidentally leave your eyeshadow at home when you need to touch up your eyes after gym. It's great to look and feel feminine.

I agree that Make up makes me or any woman feel more feminine.I feel that make up can be worn everyday depending on the type of make up you wear and the places you go to. Its true each is to their own opinion. But the thing I believe is that beauty care is a better make up than any thing and if you take care of your skin in such a way that even light make up can cover it and no make up wont still dull your looks, then your sister's complaint can fall to the ground. If your natural features are not good enough then there are a lot of things that beauty care can still do to make you look appealing and not damage your skin.

There are plenty of women who were makeup everyday. And there are plenty of women who only wear makeup on occasion. As long as you look like you after your makeup and enhance your features and natural beauty rather than hide it, there's nothing to worry about. Makeup makes me feel good too and there's nothing wrong with that.

Both of you are in the right. Your sister feels good going au natural and you feel good putting your face on every day. I guess its just a "whatever works for you" type of situation.
I personally wear makeup every day.......I dont care if Im going to the 7/11 or out on a date!!!!

no. there is nothing wrong with it! If you wear makeup and you like how it feels, and you like how it looks then keep on wearing it! Its just your sisters opinion, maybe she thinks that she looks good with-out makeup (which could be true!) and she doesnt like to wear it! I defeintly agree with you that not everyone looks good in makeup!

Absolutely not! Do what makes you feel best.
I'm like you. I feel very feminine and put together when I'm wearing makeup. It doesn't mean I walk out the door looking like Tammy Faye (or anything remotely close), but I feel like it puts my look together.

well it is good t give you face a rest from makeup and let your pores breathe. makeup is used to enhance your features. in fashion it is used otherwise. it is up to you to make the most out of your looks. be proud to look great when you go all natural...

i wear makeup every day. i work five days a week. i wear it to church on Sunday and if i go out on Saturday which i usually do i wear makeup. there is makeup that is actually good for your skin. of course i wash it off every night.
