I am not sure if the humor is bad. Should it be more serious. Thanks for your help.

It wasn't bad but it doesn't inspire me. I think something that I could relate too would but that would require it to be more serious. Women that want to learn self-defense because they need to will find away if they can, others may respond better to the health benefits of taking up some sort of self defense class. Maybe advertise health benefits along with your demonstration.

a cursury familiarity with basic self-defense techniques does more harm than good.

I've taken martial arts for years, and like it or not, women are rarely competitive with men - even untrained men. If you doubt this, go to a few jujitsu classes and ask the women. There are exceptions of course, but overcoming the weight and strength differential usually requires a woman with uncommon dedication and years of experience.

Best to get a gun. If a woman can't handle that, she should holler her head off and run.

No. It is clearly artifice and not reflective of reality. Women may need to be interested in self defense, but from a realistic perspective that takes into account the variance between men and woman; not Hollywood PC nonsense.

No. You can only stand so much cheese without the wine. You should have a door. Make it look like a typical thing you would do every day, answering the door. Have the guy push it in. Then do your Mr. Miagi stuff.
