no periods for 6 months and breast enlargement with colostrum present, some swelling in stomach and slight wt. gain. older type ultrasound showed enlarged uterus yet all pegnancy tests have come out neg. Is it possible to be pregnant even when the tests are neg.? How can i find out for sure what is happening? the doctors charge so much and i feel i need a pelvic and/or another more advanced ultrasound. Any advice?

If your talking about at home pregnancy tests than yes they can come back negative and you still be pregnant. You need to go and see your doctor tommorrow. If you can't afford that go to the emergency room. You need to be seen by some health professional because you could also have a tubal pregnancy and that is fatal. So please go and see a doctor as soon as possible. Good Luck.

they can give false neg results if your urine is to watered down from to much to drink, from testing to early , or not enough hormones in your body and rarely but some women don't show up on urine tests at all they require blood tests and some Dr's will do blood anyway to check the levels to see approx. how far along a person is if there isn't a reason to do an ultrasound yet (if they don't have insurance yet a blood test is a lot cheaper)

Home prenancy kits are not always accurate. You say you have colustrum present...are you SURE this is colostrum? I would be hightailing my butt to the doctor, cause I honestly think you are pregnant and the only way to know for sure is a blood serum pregnancy test.

OTC pregnancy tests are not always as accurate as they claim. Even doctors doing a blood test can make mistakes. I'd suggest getting more advnaced tests, even though they are pretty expensive. Even if you aren't pregnant, those symptoms could be a sign of something more serious like cancer.

Who did the ultrasound? A doctor? A doctor would notice a baby in there. Go to a doctor.

its possible to think your pregnant and not be, but thats usually possible if you want to be. if its be 6 months why the heck didnt you try to save money and get an appt, its not good if you are and not have some type of prenatal care you know.
