is my teacher that taught me before allowed to be my friend becuz she isnt a teacher anymore, and she taught me in grade 7 and now i'm in grade 10 she is 27 yrs old and i'm 16 can we be friends? or is it awkward....

No. You are still a minor and no 27 year old should be interested in a friendship with a 16 year old. Run the other way.

You can still be friends with teachers. Whenever some of the students graduate and leave town, they still stay in contact with their favourite teachers. They offer advice and whatnot so there's nothing wrong with just being friends.

Depends on the kind of *ahem* "friend" we're talking about here...as long as this teacher isn't looking for a date/relationship, then it's okay...anything more than that she's looking at a jail sentence.
