Kids are forever, wives are a different story. With a 70% divorce rate in the nation now, seems he made a wise decision.

I don't know if it's bad luck or not but a recent statistic showed that more marriages than not ended in divorce... so i guess that means your tattoo stands a better chance of being on your arm forever than your wife.

I don't know about bad luck, but a tattoo is the only thing as permanent as death. Think long and hard on it.

I feel the same way. I have a really good friend who got a tattoo on her honeymoon. It doesn't have names just a saying and now she regrets it. As much as I love my husband I don't think I would EVER tattoo his name anywhere on my body. My kids are another story.

I don't believe in bad luck but most people don't do it because spouses can come and go. Kids are your kids forever. I have my husbands name but to each his own. It's just logical to get your childrens name and not a spouse or boyfriend. What if you break up or get divorced. Stranger things have happened lol

Dunno about bad luck, but it's about stupid. I'd say ignorant but they should know better. Having your children's names on you is fine, bt someone else who you have no clue you will be with for the rest of your life, that is stupid. Good thing he didn't do it.
