hey. I had the exact same thing.. if u start feeling any pain in the bladder area then you should go to the hospital. I stopped bleeding at about 6 weeks and a week later i started bleeding again. It started out like it was a period and then got heaps heavier and i started feeling pain in my abdomen. kind of like an infection sort of pain, so i went to the hospital and they ended up giving me some anitbiotics. They didnt work and it got a heap worse. Very painful and Bleeding excessively. Having to change a few times an hour. It was unbelievable hwo much blood i lost and this went on for weeks. They scheduled me an ultrasound to see if i still had some of the placenta in there but there was none, so they werent to sure what was going on. The called it postpartum hemmorage.. even though it is usually alot earlier than this far after birth. They gave me 2 doses of extra strong antibiotics and it ended up clearing up after a while. It was so horrible though.
You shouldnt probably get your period this early after birth, so if u do start feeling uncomfortable in you stomach, you should really get checked out. Im not sure if it is really common but it happened to me. so good luck with it. i hope it doesnt happen that way. Xx
