I am a freshman at a private school. My boyfriend goes to a public school in a different state. I really miss him and feel like it would be best if we were together. I don't particularly like it here, and I feel like I don't belong at this school sometimes. well..most of the time. It is a great school with great academics but I don't feel like they have anything to offer me. I guess my question is is it too early to tell if this is the right school for me? I understand that it may be that I am still getting used to it.

try as best you can to get your boyfriend out of the equation. i would suggest staying at least until the end of the semester, and then think about transferring. it's still early. i know you want to be with him, but things can change and going to the same school doesn't guarantee happiness.
i'm sure your school has plenty to offer you; you just have to look in the right places. explore a little more, expand your horizons. don't forget about your boyfriend, of course, but see if you can keep your mind on other things.
it's entirely possible that your school isn't right for you. but you need to give it a fair chance.

I have had friends that are in your same situation. The thing is, you are still young to throw away such a good opportunity for a boy. If it's meant to be, he will make an effort and so will you, and both will know. But from experience long distance relationships rarely work because most relationships were founded on physical contact. I did have one friend who talked to his gfriend night and day, and he never slept with her until years after. They both were religious and this unique situation cemented their bond.

Ask yourself what the REAL reason is for your state of mind. Could it be the boyfriend? Check your motives very clearly if you can.

You need to set down and talk to your Mother and Father.
