Yes, it's about 2500-2700 miles. I have driven the round trip between Connecticut and Las Vegas Twice. You have two alternatives, either go the northern route via I-70, or the southern route via I-40. In the winter I'd recommend the southern route, via I-84 to I-81 to I-40, and then taking the route through Laughlin to Las Vegas. You'll hit snow on the northern route.
