No one has hurt my feelings today, which is a miracle, because I didn't get a lot of rest last night, which generally leads me to be more sensitive than normal.
I guess I haven't had contact with very many people, and the ones I have today have been pretty nice. It was a good day!

Not today, but a couple of weeks ago the hospital where I work was having a pumpkin-decorating contest and I decided to do a little version of a cross between the "fat chef" guys and Emeril. We work in the kitchen. So I spend MY money on paint and glue and spend about 4 days on it, and even HAND SEW a little apron for the guy, and on the day we were supposed to display them, my assistant manager sits in the cafeteria on a break and casually says, "oh, we're going to put Diane's pumpkin out." Diane made hers at the last minute, with materials she already had, and she didn't even like it herself, and this ***** assistant sits there and says that all my effort was for nothing!!

Yes he said I had a long head and I told him just like your momma's which probably wasn't a very nice thing to say but the boy always has something say when I am not talking to him. He has a big ego just because he thinks he is the best basketball player and cutest guy in school. I am gonna apologize to him today.

I did, but I didn't react. I just kept smiling & doing my job. That was the best I could do & by all but ignoring the barb, the person didn't get any satisfaction so they went away and left me alone after that.

No, not today, but recently, someone did while
we were talking on the phone, and I hung up,
and cried. I haven't talked to them since.
And I'm not all too sure I ever will again.

Yes they did. My ex fiance told me he would be with me but he chose a new girl. I accepted this and realized I'm better off without him.

yes i did get my feelings hurt today. so i called my brother and talked to him about it. i also called my friend. after that i felt a little better.. lol
