It was Said on the radio today, not untill March/April, and the cost will be over £400.

Just recently, SCEE (Sony Computer Entertainment Europe) officially said that the PS3 is currently on track for March 2007 release in Europe. In terms of the cost, the 60Gb model (the only model which will be released at first or at all in the UK) will cost in the region of £425, maybe even more.
It's a lot but looks to be one hell of a machine.

It comes out in North America on the 17th, this Friday, and is going for $660 (60MB) and $560(30MB), not sure about the release date in the UK and europe but hope that helps with a guide to what its going to cost at Dixons or the like.

it will be out in the uk by easter of next year. It has just been released in Japan. Will be selling at approx 400 euro, 350 sterling. Cant wait for it myself!

It supposed to march 2007 (don't hold ya breath, you know what Sony are like)
Two version are available 60gb model around £425
and the cheaper 20gb model £ 300...
