No its none of your business to go and tell your family. Its his choice and I am sure no one knows because he isn't ready to let them know. Respect your cousin and mind your business.

If you want to talk to your cousin and ask him if he is gay, that is one thing. If he is gay, it's up to him to tell others. It's not ok to "out" someone else. I question your motives in wanting to tell others. What would you gain by telling others that he is gay? Without a lot of detail, it's hard to tell what the situation is. But, your cousin might not realize he is gay (if he's gay), even though it may seem obvious to you.

Yep. the next time you are with him and can talk freely tell him how much you love him and how glad you are he is doing fine in school or at work. Also compliment him on his attire, his cooking, his apartment or whatever fits the occasion.

As for saying anythign about his being gay why woudl you even think that? Would you want him running around telling everyone you are straight? I think not. In fat each person;s sexual preferences are nobody's business except for the person and whomever they are enjoying at the time.

Well he knows hes gay, so you don't have to say anything to him.
I don't know about your family, but we rarely have a conversation about what our relatives do in the bedroom, or who they do it with.
Somehow announcing your cousins sexuality seems unseemly.
You wouldn't announce your heterosexuality so why announce someone elses choice?

Be comfortable with the fact that he chose to tell you at this point. Never betray his trust by outing him before he's ready to tell his family himself. If you need to, talk to him about how it makes you feel to keep the secret from your family otherwise it will only hurt your relationship with him.

You could try saying something to your cousin. But please, don't tell anyone else. That's up to your cousin to do. You sound like a good person. May be he would like someone he could talk to and be himself. May be that person is you.

Why would you do that?

When and if your cousin want to tell the family that will be up to him.

To be frank....it's none of your business.
