I have reasons for both. I would say blind first. I love music and if I couldn't hear music I would hate it! BUT I could never hear my kids voices again and I don't think I could ever learn Braille.
Then if I said deaf, I could still see my family and my children but never hear their voices. I don't think I could take all that silence though.
This is one of those questions you pray you never need to make!

I would rather be deaf I think....but unless I was in those situations it might not be fair of me to say really.
I see deaf as easier because you can still see all the beautiful sights in the world. Half of the things I hear in a day could be filtered out and it would be great. I dunno.

I'd probably pick deaf because you can always learn to read lips and sign language I don't know if I would ever be able to survive without my sight

I would rather be deaf. At least I would still be able to see everything around me and wouldn't need to depend on anyone to take care of me. I don't know what I would do if that happened to me.

that is a hard one i think deaf, because i have no children yet, and i am going to have some and i would want to see them when i do. the only thing i would hate is not hearing them say" mommy".
