You and a person you love deeply are place in separate locked rooms, tied to a chair, with a button within reach. You will both be killed in 60 minutes unless one of you pushes their button. The first to push the button will be immediately killed, but will save the other person. What do you think you would do?

I would push it..... I wouldn't be able to stand myself for letting him die... so I'd do it first... he'll live for me..... then again we both should push it at the same time...hmmm

To push the button would be suicide, which I don't believe in. If I die because the other person didn't push the button either, so be it. I would not feel responsible for the other persons death by not pushing the button because I was not the one who tied him up etc.

I push my button first - but I would push it at the end of the 60 minutes, so we got to spend every last moment together.

i'd push the button myself,because our 4 children need at least 1 parent,and i couldnt imagine life without my fiance,i know the children would be well cared for,as he is a brilliant father.i wouldnt like to be put in this situation in the first place,but if it came to it,i would,especially if it meant immediate death and no suffering,would be petrified if it was slow and painful,but think i would still push the button first,wouldnt like to see any loved one go through any pain.

push the button, it is the least you can do for the one you love, well most women do not know how to push a button as men usually have the TV controls

Nice question! Yes in those circumstances I would push the button. The problem arises if you only love them a bit.

i would take a stick and push the button. that way we both won't be killed because technically the stick pushed the button. or, i would get a ball and throw it at it and it would bne the balls fault. i wouldn't really want someone i really really love to die, but i wouldn't want to die either.
