Hello, the 1992 bmw 325i i am going to buy had a leaking "slate cyliner" whatever that means. also it has a broken hood latch, which takes 2 guys to open. and the "motor blower" is not working. I talked the dealership guy down to $2500 for it. It appears to be in excellent condition asthetically. It has 160,000 miles on it, do you think this would be a good idea?

also they fixed the leaking slate cylinder, so the only thing that is wrong is the hood latch and "motor blower" for heat they said.

do you mean slade cylinder? it will cost alot to fix this car because it is an import, which means foreign. you have a car that has 160,000. miles on it and when it starts nit picking your wallet ,then youll know that it was a bad buy. it is best to go into new and used or in car bargain hunter and youll find something that is not going to kill your wallet. keep with american made cars that way your parts are not going to be exspensive.

slave cylinder, those are the ones activated by the brake master cyl. or the clutch cylinder, the hinge and blower motor are wrecker items, buy a Haynes or Chilton's ( better ) manual on this model and have at it .
