I'm hosting Thanksgiving dinner and I have already spent a lot of money so I need a creative idea for cheap napkin rings. Thanks in advance!

Why rings do folding it's really classy and easy (and free at that!).

Here are a few of my fave folds I do with satin napkins (for dinner parties and special occations).

Viking Hat

Crown (similar to viking hat)

Tri Fold (this is the easiest of all)

Cheap Napkin Rings

Get some acorns. Get some thick twine or beige taftea and tie it around the napkin and make a bow (the napikin should be rolled up or something). Slide off the ring-with-a-bow and preferably superglue the bow permanently into place (Elmers works too though. Just cover the knot with a little). You can tie 2 or 3 different taftea colors together (tan, orange, dark green?) or you can have one color with an acorn glued to the center of the bow. Good luck! Just an idea...you can vary the materials any way you like.

I don't know how expensive this would be, and it is somewhat time-consuming, but when I was little, my mom took some cheap felt of different colors and cut them up, then used some glue to make little cute turkeys. Then it was just a matter of making a band to go around the napkin, attaching them, and voila- very cute napkin rings.

Of course, she was very creative and good at things like that. It's always an idea, though.

You could always use colored construction paper. Make the ring to the size you want and glue. Then you will have already started a chain for Christmas decorations or it wouldn't mater when they were ripped off. U can decorate them any way you would like or leave them plain. Also if you wanted to (if you have kids) let them draw or color pictures of turkeys / Pilgrims then glue them to pipe cleaners (found at any craft store or wal-mart). Then you can twist the pipe cleaners around the napkins.

I like to fold mine into shapes and have them on the plate or in the wine glass. No ring needed.

If you wanted to use silk autumn leaves, Wal-Mart is selling out theirs for 20 cents a stem (about 15 leaves per stem). You could remove them from the stem and glue the leaves onto paper rings that you make.

You can use Raffia, pretty ribbon that goes with your color scheme, or you can cut about 2 or 3 inch tubes using a paper towel roll or toilet paper roll. You can decorate it using felt or fabric or paint them with a type of glittery/speckled paint. Just depends on how "elegant" you want it to look.

Christmas time. long island city. In front of the Rockefeller middle Christmas tree. a delicate sow began falling, and the lighting fixtures have been appropriate. We have been sipping warm cocoa, and conserving palms, once I regarded her interior the attention and instructed her i had to start up seeing different persons. She called me an assh*le, began crying, and ran removed from me. I caught as much as her, have been given down on one knee and positioned a hoop on her finger.
