Very similar to yours. LOVED Life is beautiful (La Vita es bella) and Amelie, am a great fan of J. D. F and M. D. S but saw some really great ones recently, Talk to her (Spanish film-amazing), He loves me, he loves me not (again with audrey tatou!) and Amores Perros. Oh, and The Sea Inside (about euthanasia) is incredible. I love foreign language films. They seem to have a class that we British and the Americans don't seem to achieve!
