My hands are dry and cracked, and where they crack - dirt gets in and is extremly hard to get rid of. I wear gloves as much as possible for housework, and i moisturise daily. I don't know what to do. Please help.

To get moisture in fast take two wash cloths and get them steamin hot then soak your hands in Lotion and wrap the wash cloths around them. The lotion will soak into your hands and moisturize them. After this moisturize your hands frequently for a week probably like every 20minutes. By the end of the week your cracks should be gone. You also might want to invest in some Vaseline it will make your hands extremely moisturized.

Your moisturiser is causing you major problems. It contains some very harmful and highly toxic chemicals which are drying and causing your hands to crack. You could try using 100% pure coconut oil, i recommend using Nui (promounced new), you should immediately notice that your hands are no longer sore. You can purchase Nui at any good health food store. yes it is expensive but you need the use of your hands.

get a pair of latex gloves and and electric heating pad. Put the gloves on and squirt alot of cuticle oil or some type of baby oil in the gloves, stick your hands into the heating pad(fold it over) leave them in there for 5-10 min daily. This will help tremendously. Also I have found a miracle lotion on-line called Renew...the greatest thing ever. I have the same problem with my hands.

try dipping your hands in parrafin baths (once a week)- they're not too expensive and you can either get it done at a salon or get a do-it-yourself kit. Your hands will be fully moisturized and feel extremely soft. To keep it that way, nightly moisturize with Jergens Ultra Healing Intense Moisture Therapy lotion. Hope that helps.

Sometimes I have the same problem, during
the dry seasons.
I think the best solution yet for me is drink a lot
of water, tea or soup, things like that.
