Not really sure how to answer that, but I would say there are four... a Ringo beatle, a Paul beatle, a George beatle, and a John beatle...

There were five in the beginning Stuart Sutcliffe, (who left in '61, and died of a brain hemmorage not too long after), John Lennon Paul McCartney, George Harrison, and Ringo Starr. Then ther were four.

Unless you are talking about BEETLES, then forty percent of all described insect species are beetles (about 350,000 species), and new species are regularly discovered. Estimates put the total number of species, described and undescribed, at between 5 and 8 million.
