i got a bunch of cucumbers from my garden this year and most of them went to waste. i wanted to try and pickle some of them..but i dont know how. can anyone tell me?

Type it in on your tool bar and you'll find mega sites for recipes on pickling and tips how to do it right.The best pickling I've done is take a clear glass jar with a small opening,put a baby pickle still on the vine in it and let it grow. when it gets bigger than the opening cut the vine and fill it with vinegar. Then let people try to figure out how you got it in there

Pickles are a great way to preserve the harvest, but you don't pickle a single cucumber. You need several pounds of them at once. There are some great pickle recipes. Why don't you post your question in the Food category and ask for favorite pickle recipes?

i think you are supposed to keep it in a jar for a long time, and over time they will pickle. keep it in a cool dry place
