As children we all sit on the potty, and on the childs toilet seat when it is put on the toilet. It makes for cleaner living.
If the woman of the house asked you, after you had missed a few times, to sit in future could you? Would you?

In answer, this would be everytime, while in the same place as the woman.
No need to specify if she watched you, that is between you and her.

Ladies, tell ther men you put a bit of toilet paper down before you pee, to stop the splashes, some clearly don't realize.

There is NOT a biological NEED for men to stand.

Other than best answer, points from sqawwitoutmule, raaj111,lozzielaws, and scotlad60, were the most welcome.
I agree that most men believe standing to pee is a mark of their musculinity.

Not a problem at all. In fact, I prefer to sit down to urinate. It has become a habit and I do this all the time. It feels "weird" not to sit down.

It is a biological fact that wherever we point it, we're going to pee in a completely different direction, someone should write a scientific paper on it. Basically it's punishment from God for all the people who are stupid enough to have carpet in a bathroom.

Get tiles or easily washable vinyl and you're sorted!

I wouldnt ask my hubby to do it, bu tthen he does have excellent aim, maybe if he was peeing all over the place like a sprinkler, I might change my mind!

I think it takes away a mans masculinity to ask them to sit, but there are some men who seem to have a faulty valve or something, cos ive seen the tinkle sprinkle all over the seat, and you gotta wonder why they cant aim straight, and why they cant simply wipe it off after with a bit of loo roll.

ive checked this with a question about sitting down and still needing to pee - the male bladder actually needs to be vertical to empty no matter how much a woman dislikes it we have to stand up to empty our bladders properly its the same as they can't do it standing up it's a biological thing

peeing sitting by man is quite natural.standing peeing is not natural even in males.there should be no problem in sitting for peeing if your dress permit.

I certainly would not; do you know how uncomfortable it is to sit with your penis stubbed into the toilet bowl and the force of the urine spitting back at you?

No, I would not! I'll still keep my male stance the way its supposed to be but at the same time, would be more careful. What about those guys who would suddenly feel their pecker in cold water?
